Uniform Options
Families can order through either approved uniform shop, use Hess Embroidery directly, or ask the office about school-coordinated embroidery. Please plan to order at least one month before school begins.
Hess Embroidery
Families may use this local business directly to add the RJA logo to matching uniform pieces.
School-Coordinated Embroidery
Buy matching uniform pieces and bring them to RJA. The school can send the items to its embroidery contact. Contact the office before purchasing or dropping off clothing.
Before you purchase or embroider: Items bought outside the approved storefronts, including pieces taken to Hess or brought to the school for embroidery, must match the RJA uniform style and the appropriate grade-level colors as closely as possible. When in doubt, contact the school office before purchasing or embroidering an item.

Placement and Transfers
Entrance Testing
Each new student may be tested regardless of grade level or time of year when enrolling. This helps with grade placement and identifying individual needs. Testing is typically performed for students entering kindergarten or first grade.
Transferring Students
Parents or legal guardians of an applicant transferring to RJA must release academic transcripts, psychological reports, discipline records, and medical records before the applicant is accepted. A School Records Request form naming the child’s previous school must be completed so the records can be released to RJA.
